Make a thick pancake dough from the ingredients. (You should be able to draw with it in the pan.) Fill a saucepan with 1-1.5 l volume (in former times one used a tripod) about one third with fat (oil, lard) and let it get very hot. Now pour in a little bit of the dough slowly in a spiral shape with a fork. Wait a bit and pour again. When the bottom is golden brown, turn over, finish cooking, turn out and sprinkle with sugar.
