Instructions:

Bacon finely cut into cubes. Clean and finely dice the peppers.

Sauté the bacon in olive oil. Add the peppers, onions and lentils, sauté briefly, cover with a little water and cook in a closed saucepan at a low temperature for 35 to 40 minutes.

In the meantime, peel the tomatoes, cut into quarters, remove the seeds and cut into large cubes.

Season the lentils with salt and pepper, stir in the tomatoes and heat through. Serve Menestra with Carne Mechada.

Our tip: Use a deliciously spicy bacon for a delicious touch!
