For the melon strawberry punch, halve, core and quarter the melon. Cut away the peel and cut the melon into small cubes.
Place the melon pieces in a large bowl. Cut strawberries into small cubes and add. Add sugar and 2 bottles of wine.
Leave in the refrigerator overnight so that the fruit is well infused.
Just before serving, pour the chilled sparkling wine into the melon strawberry punch and enjoy.
