For the meat-vegetable stew, cut the beef and pork into cubes of about 3 cm. Peel the potatoes and cut them into small cubes. Cut the cleaned and washed leek into rings. Layer all ingredients in a saucepan, add hot beef broth, season with salt and pepper and add a bay leaf.
Simmer the meat-vegetable pot at medium temperature with the lid closed for about 1-1 1/2 hrs.
