Instructions:

Soak the oats in 1/4 l water for one night. Then rinse briefly and cook in 1/4 l salted water for half an hour.

In the meantime, clean the white cabbage, rinse, cut into narrow strips. Place in a sufficiently large bowl, season with salt and season with pepper. Mash cabbage with a wooden stirrer until it becomes slightly translucent. Stir in vinegar and oil until well blended.
