Instructions:

A bean recipe for every taste:

1. heat the oil in a saucepan. Add the onions and sauté briefly. 2.

Add the meat and sauté for another 5 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the stove. 3.

3. stir salt, garam masala, ground garlic, coriander, ginger and yogurt in a large baking bowl. gradually add the meat and mix well. Return everything repeatedly to the saucepan, place on the kitchen stove and roast for another 5-7 min until the mixture is well browned.

4. add cloves, cardamom pods and peppercorns. Add water, reduce temperature and gently simmer, covered, for 45-60 min.

When the water has boiled away, but the meat is not yet tender, add another 300 ml, water and cook again for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

5. just before serving, sprinkle the khorma with almond kernels, chilies and cilantro. Serve with poppadoms.

Poppadoms = Indian pappadums, a thin “chip-like pastry” made from lentil or bean flour, are probably the most popular Indian food. Pappadums are usually prepared according to a traditional Indian recipe and dried in the sun to preserve their flavor. With chutneys and pickles, they are ideal as an appetizer or a small meal in between, but they are also well suited as an appetizer to the main meal.
