For the banana nut cakes, preheat the oven to 180 °C, convection oven to 160 °C. Mix the soft fat, sugar and vanilla sugar with the whisks of a hand mixer until creamy.

Peel bananas, cut into pieces and add. Stir in the egg. Chop the walnut kernels. Mix flour and baking soda and stir into the banana mixture together with the walnuts and buttermilk.

Cut 10 squares (18 cm) from baking paper. Press paper squares into cups and pour in 1.5 tablespoons of batter.

Tie the paper a little with kitchen twine and place the cakes without the cup on a baking tray lined with baking paper.

Bake the banana-nut cakes in the oven for 30 minutes.
