Drain pear halves, reserving juice, stir a little juice with the cranberries. Arrange pears cut into fan shapes with cranberries on plates.
Roast almond kernels in a frying pan without fat on 3 or automatic heat 9 to 12 until golden brown. Crush peppercorns, sprinkle over cheese and drizzle with olive oil. Bake on a baking sheet under the heated broiler until it begins to melt, then arrange on lettuce leaves with the pear halves together. Serve sprinkled with almond kernels and garnished with parsley.
