Sift the flour into a suitable bowl. Make a well in the center, crumble yeast into it, add lukewarm sugar, water, salt and a little flour and stir. Let this dampfl swell. Add the egg and knead to a firm dough. Let the dough rise in a warm place.
Pour the dough into the form, cover according to taste.
Bake in a heated oven (180 °C -200 °C, hot air 20 °C less, gas mark 4) on the middle shelf for 30-40 minutes.
