Sieve the flour, baking powder, ginger powder and salt into the bowl. Add all the remaining ingredients and 2/3 of the cow’s milk and mix everything together properly. Gradually add enough of the remaining cow’s milk to make a soft dough.
Preheat the oven.
Grease a loaf pan, possibly line it with parchment paper, and spoon in the dough.
Bake the bread on the middle shelf for about 2 hours at 190 degrees (gas mark 3).
