For the blueberry chocolate cake, first separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites until stiff. Mix the soft butter with the powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and lemon zest until fluffy. Mix in the egg yolks.

Stir in drinking chocolate, rum, cinnamon and cardamom. Mix the wholemeal spelt flour with the yolk mixture and gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

Pour the mixture into a greased and floured mold. Spread the washed blueberries on top and bake the blueberry chocolate cake at 180 °C.
