For the garlic bread, mix the butter with the herbs and plenty of garlic. Season with salt, pepper and paprika powder, if desired.
Cut the sandwich into 1 cm thick slices, leaving the bottom side uncut. Now spread the garlic-herb butter between these slices.
Wrap the garlic bread in aluminum foil and let it roast in the preheated oven at about 200° C for 10 minutes.
Remove the finished garlic bread from the oven and serve while still hot!
