Instructions:

For the bread dumplings, mix milk with water and pour over the bread cubes. Mix and let it stand for a short time. Fry chopped onion and bacon cubes in butter and mix into the bread mixture. Mix with chives, salt and eggs. Form dumplings from the mixture. Boil salted water and cook a test dumpling. If necessary, bind the mixture with a little flour.
