For woodruff strawberries, rinse the red berries and remove the stems. Also briefly rinse the woodruff, shake dry, pluck the leaves from the stems and roughly chop.
Cut open and squeeze the lime, stir the juice with powdered sugar, wine and chopped woodruff.
Carefully mix the prepared strawberries with the marinade, then cover and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
Afterwards, arrange the woodruff strawberries on a nice dessert plate, sprinkle with a little powdered sugar if desired or serve decorated with whipped cream.
